I know you have all seen this and even done it, but sometimes we just need a reminder to jog our creative minds!
This is wonderful for scrap bookers and paper crafters. Just grab your favorite vintage fabrics and linens, and put them on the color copier.

OK who can find the cat. I have two places in the house with good light for taking photo's and that is where Martin wants to sit!
Here is a couple things I have done with my fun new paper. I bet you already have some projects in mind!
Cards, Tags, scrap booking, I can tell your minds are in over drive.

I've never thought of making copies from the embroidery. I have downloaded online fabric samples to print. I've also made address labels from the prints. Don't you love that the possibilities are endless.
Your banner is beautiful! I adore anything pink, lacy and frilly.

I started copying my vintage fabrics years ago when I couldn't find the kind of vintage look patterned papers that I craved at the craft stores. Yours look beautiful! Can't wait to explore more of your blog!

ReplyDeleteYes this is a great idea- i did it once when I needed a "fabric design" for a mixed media piece- I needed a dress for Mary magdalene! My scarf looked perfect and I didn't want to cut it up, so I copied it! Loved the effect! Never did it again, but you reminded me! Patsy from
