Setting Up A Holiday Booth.

When I closed my booth of 13 years last spring to focus on the Polka Dot Flea I had 6 bins of vintage holiday goodies still in storage  


This is where my friend Terrie Ireland came in.  She just opened Vintage Living Marketplace in Rockledge Florida, a short 1 hour drive from Orlando.  Terrie invited me to sell my holiday wares in a small booth space at her market.



I am only going to be there through the holiday season



I apologize for the worst pictures ever.....I forgot my camera, these were taken with my iphone and my booth has no natural light



Vintage Living Marketplace is absolutely gorgeous.  The venue was previously a high end kitchen store, so each vendor is set up in one of the many rooms in the store.



Do you ever find yourself standing on your head trying to see price tags on other blogs......No secrets here at The Polka Dot Closet




What an honor to be in a Market with so many of the who's who in Central Florida vendors.   Here's a look inside some of their booths.








I had so much fun setting up a booth again.......Thank you Terrie for finding me a space at Vintage Living Marketplace!!!


 I am so thankful for how my world has been enriched and all of the wonderful friends I have made by simply pushing ......

    Hi Carol, your booth is wonderful. I love those bottle brush trees and that scale is awesome. I love how you ended this post. You said what we are all thinking . . . Blogging is so much more than any of us thought. It is such an amazing place to connect with other women with common interests and to share our lives and grow wonderful friendships. Who knew?

    Oh.My.Gosh! Pink and what I call "grandma green" is my new favorite Christmas color combo and I am working on changing out my own Christmas decor. LOVE your display!

    I see a lot of vintage goodness in your booth. I love everything but especially that little muff...so precious.
    Love your comment about trying to see the price tags.....so true!! LOL!

    Once you've had a booth it's hard to give it up. Glad you decided to do one for the Holidays.

I love your honesty, you are such a class act, lol, so much lovely to see, I could spend hours browsing there, I love the old bottle brush trees, they are hard to find here, they have new ones but they just aren't the same are they,,,

    The other day I found an angel in pinterest, dressed in a vintage gown, and I though of you and wondered if you did this. So glad to see the answer...
    And your booth looks pretty much what I imagined for it; down to the kindness of offering honest and in view prices ahahahahah

    Thank you for sharing photos. I've yet to get down there and I've heard about it and love Terrie's style. That is/was a nice collection on vintage Christmas trees :)
