Copying Vintage linen for paper projects

Enter the drawing for the 4th Annual Cottage Giveaway
Now back to our regularly scheduled program

I know you have all seen this and even done it, but sometimes we just need a reminder to jog our creative minds!

This is wonderful for scrap bookers and paper crafters.  Just grab your favorite vintage fabrics and linens,  and put them on the color copier.
Here is the fabric and the paper

Here is all of your unique crafting paper

OK who can find the cat.  I have two places in the house with good light for taking photo's and that is where Martin wants to sit!

Here is a couple things I have done with my fun new paper.  I bet you already have some projects in mind!

Cards, Tags, scrap booking, I can tell your minds are in over drive.

Happy Creating
Carol

  6. Hello Carol ~I've just strolled in for my first visit...I've enjoyed taking a peek at your past posts. You've got so many wonderful treasures. Your blog is so beautifully inviting.
We share similar taste for so many of the same creative design elements.
I've never thought of making copies from the embroidery. I have downloaded online fabric samples to print. I've also made address labels from the prints. Don't you love that the possibilities are endless.

Your banner is beautiful! I adore anything pink, lacy and frilly.

Come by for a visit. Your company would be nice.
    Sweet wishes,
    Sara

  7. Shhhhhhh! Don't tell a soul ... 1959 was when it was made ... but not the year I wore it.

I love your beautiful items ... embroidered linens are a passion I adore.

    Have a lovely week.

  23. Yes this is a great idea- i did it once when I needed a "fabric design" for a mixed media piece- I needed a dress for Mary magdalene! My scarf looked perfect and I didn't want to cut it up, so I copied it! Loved the effect! Never did it again, but you reminded me! Patsy from
