Here's a quick, but I admit a little .....Well, kitschy Easter craft
I used Bright colored plastic Easter eggs
I used Bright colored plastic Easter eggs
Then I removed the lining from the napkin, cut the napkin in strips, and Mod Podged it on the plastic egg
I liked that you could still see the color of the plastic eggs through the napkin
I decorated each egg with coordinating ribbons, flowers, and jewelry and put them all in my plaster bunny
Move Martin!!
I better HOP along, I have some bigger projects to do!
Happy Creating!
Carol
I think they came out so pretty! And so easy too:) Thanks for sharing with us.

Hi Carol-
ReplyDeleteYour Easter eggs are so pretty. I love the shabby chic look of your eggs. The addition of the shredded music sheets added extra interest. Check out the Bowdabra blog. My friend Sarah has some similar eggs, so you might get some more decorating ideas from her! Creative minds thing alike sometimes. Have a great week!

Love the eggs. I've done something similar on 4x4 tiles and liked them too : )
ReplyDeleteI forgot to say that Martin is adorable : )
ReplyDeleteSo cute. I've done modge podge on blown eggs, but never plastic. It's neat how the napkin mellows the color of the plastic egg.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have you join me this Sunday at Seasonal Sundays.

Those are works of art, I'd want to leave them out all year. Memorial Day eggs, 4th of July eggs, back to school eggs, Thanksgiving eggs, you get the idea.
