Using Radiator Screen

I often use radiator screen in my transformations

I started with this cabinet

First I added my homemade plaster flowers, the tutorial is HERE,

 and painted the cabinet with heirloom white homemade chalk paint

I cut out the front of the cabinet door with a jigsaw, then using tin snips (Or you could use a scissors) I cut a square from this radiator screen

I purchased at Lowes, it comes in 36 X 36 squares in many different patterns and finishes.   Its made of a light tin making it easy to cut.  It's a little pricey, I can't remember exactly, I think it is around $30, but you can use it on many projects

I stapled it onto the door 

Then after painting the inside of the cabinet with oops green paint

I reattached the door

And finished the cabinet with clear Minwax followed by Annie Sloan dark wax

The first time I used the radiator screen was in some of my upper kitchen cabinets and I've used it many times since

I'm going to put this in my booth at Orange Tree and I think I'll price it at $45

There ya go!   You could always use inexpensive screen or chicken wire...Just throwing out an alternative idea.
