Barr Display is custom printing 3000 shopping bags to give to the Polka Dot Flea shoppers when they arrive! I'm one lucky girl to have such a great sponsor!......I'm so excited........But, now I need YOUR help in choosing which bag
So many choices..Paper..Plastic...What color...What size?
I have narrowed it down to two bags....Black or green?
I printed the logo on my home printer then pasted it on the bags so you could get an idea of what it will look like
First up is the green one...My printer made the polka dots more blue than they will actually be. When the bags are printed the polka dots will be the identical green color of the bag

I like the green bag because It's a summer show and they are light and happy

I like the black bag because it looks rich like Coco Chanel or Saks Fifth Ave
I said I was taking you along with me on this Polka Dot Flea journey! So.....YOU choose...Black or Green (The polka dots will match the green color of the green bag)...Majority Rules!

Green!!! If you WERE Saks, then rich black would be perfect, but I just find it too pretentious, the green is much more appealing and suits vintage much better.

I would make an Normandy answer, as we say here in France : the two ones are nice, and as you say the black one introduces more chic and a little bit of French style, and the other green one is more in the shabby style, so I will choose the lighter one :)

I know it's a summer show but my eye instantly liked the black because it is classy looking. Just because it's a flea doesn't mean it's not classy. :)

This is a tough choice, Carol. I like both bags equally. I know I'm no help. Black is usually a little more sophisticated so maybe the green one is more fitting for your funky style, and what I mean by funky style is I know your market will be a fun place to shop. It's all about having fun.

I think the black bag is elegant and very striking. Still, I like the green bag because it is more cheerful, and perfect for summer.
ReplyDeleteThe green bag looks better with the card, as well. I copied the card into the center of the photo of both bags. After adjusting the green color on the card to match the color on the green bag, I definitely thought it looked better with the green bag. The card is also cheerful and summery with the addition of the yellow.
The black bag just doesn't go well with the card. If you could change the card so that it is elegant like the black bag, then I would like the black bag more.
I look forward to seeing the results of the poll!
Oh, by the way, I love the Polka Dot Flea website. I want to shop there! I live a long,long way from Orlando, but you never know.

One more comment on the bags - I prefer a paper bag, but plastic would last longer and one could use it for shopping in other stores. Great advertisement!
People always talk about a box or bag of "Tiffany Blue" -- you know where they've been shopping.

ReplyDeleteboy, i like them both. i wouldve picked blue but thats me.... the black is very chic but the green is more for your purpose i believe. and i would do the plastic if possible or clothe?? that way reusable for shopping and is a great way to advertise. nothin better than free ads. good luck....susy

I love the brown regular bags too, but that's a little too much like Bath and Body isn't it? I don't know, had to surrender my credit cards so no more shopping for me for a long time. LOL

You could make you a half dozen "giveaway" bags using canvas bags for your first big show and have drawings or raffle them off or something like that to give them away! I think everyone would love them! I'm loving my embroidery machine, and I could help!!
