Keeping my booth stocked is a full time job....Yea!
My Mom likes to say that I am having so much fun, I don't have time to have fun!
Pictures fly out the door, the one on the right was a door front of an old cabinet that I framed
I found these two pictures with porcelain flowers. They needed a little love.
When I was finished, I did the talk with myself, should I keep them or sell them???
My 80's chandelier from the estate sale got it's make over
I covered the shades with a light pink vintage damask fabric.
When I make chalkboards for my booth I always add chalk and eraser.
I just cut a little block of wood, add a decal, and cut a piece of upholstery foam I attach to the wood with E-6000
Sometimes it is just that little added touch that makes the sale.
OK, I'm off to have some more fun...it's pillow making day!

ReplyDeleteI just love your makeovers! You must manage your time very well. I just go from one project to another and they don't get done. I must stay FOCUSED!
Weather is crappy...bet your Mom isn't thrilled being here!
What are your Easter plans!?

Nicely done, and what kind of printer are the inks for?

Hi Carol...you have the best ideas, and no wonder your things fly out the door.
ReplyDeleteLove the remake on the flower frames...totally shabby.
Have a great week,
Michelle
You give me so many ideas! I just made a little chalkboard for my booth, now I need to make a cute little eraser, too!
ReplyDeleteYour ability to transform the old, worn looking sad items into such beauty is amazing. I love the entire transformation of the porcelain pictures which are fresh and feminine and beautiful. I can easily see how your booth needs restocking constantly. Happy week to you...
ReplyDeleteWhat a romantic & elegant showing of your treasures, Carol.
ReplyDeleteHave an EGGS-TRA blessed Easter ~

I love the little blocks of wood with the decals! Something even I could do! Wish I could use the printer cartridges but they won't work on ours either! Thanks for offering...how sweet of you! ♥
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Miss Carol...I concur those little extra touches seal the deal. Wish I had a HP, I hate buying new ones!
ReplyDeleteCarol, I am loving that chandelier! I think adding the chalk and eraser to your pretty boards definitely add that extra touch. You have been busy, busy, busy!
ReplyDeleteyes, adding the chalk to the pretty painted board is a big plus! I have to redo my booth this week. I will go in tomorrow to reassess, then return home to gather new inventory. I will work on it Thursday. S and I are treasure hunting tomorrow. Bring out the shorts and sandals....it's going to be 90 degrees. :) Happy Day to you Carol and I know you are having fun. xo
ReplyDeleteWow! I love those picture frames with the flowers. I have that same problem ALL the time...keep or sell. I don't know, those look like keepers to me. Love the idea with the chalkboard eraser and that chandelier turned out so pretty.
ReplyDeleteCarol-
ReplyDeleteLove the makeovers! I had recently bought chalk spray paint, but hadn't used it yet. What was the surface you used for your chalkboard frame? Was it glass or cardboard or...?
Off to paint now! :)

Hi Carol!
ReplyDeleteAll of your makeovers are always so gorgeous! And the little extra touches you add are just the cherry on top! Glad to hear your shop is doing good. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Easter!
I ALWAYS LOVE VISITING AND SEEING YOUR CREATIVE MIND AT WORK. VERY TALENTED LADY!
ReplyDeleteWould Office Depot not let you just return them for an in store credit? If they are still in the package they came in, that makes no sense why they wouldn't.
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonderful gesture for you to give them away. I don't need them, but I'm sure somebody will!
I know what you mean about the special touches. I used to paint candle holders and sell them. Nobody paid attention to them until I added candles to them. Didn't matter if they were new or not. Somehow they sold after that.
Love how your chandy turned out!
EVERYTHING LOOKS GREAT. I CAN HARDLY WAIT FO THE MAGAZINE TO COME OUT(BU IT WILL MEAN YUCKY WEATHER WILL BE AROUND THE CORNER AGAIN.)
ReplyDeleteI HAVE PAINTING PROJECTS IN MIND, THANKS TO YOU, BUT I NEED 50 DEGREE WEATHER AND NO RAIN. DON'T YOU HATE WHEN WORK GETS IN THE AY OF PLAY?
You have such great ideas Carol! I love the chandelier.
ReplyDeleteHope your having a great week!
You always have such wonderful ideas. Sorry about your printer. I went thru that once with 4 barely-used laser toners! I had offered like you are, but I ended up recycling. I do have a printer that uses your ink if it is still available. I would be happy to pay you for them.
ReplyDeletePlease let me know.
The framed porcelain flowers are darling! You know I love all your creations! OK, question...what did you use to paint on to create the framed chalkboard? I have a few framed mirrors I am going to try this on but I'm looking for other ideas.
ReplyDeleteHow's WW? I'm still chugging along. I haven't been in 2 weeks (bad allergies, wedding, blah blah) so I go tomorrow for my meeting/weigh in. Still loving it and gung ho for my new Spring Look!
