ReplyDeleteOkay, my dear Carol, may I dress up a caged Santos if I don't have a dress form, or would that be a big fat faux pas?
ReplyDeleteOh Lordie! Your dress form is just amazing! I adore the lace, bling and colours! Can't wait to see what everyone else makes! :)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Sounds like you chose a good theme for your party. I didn't know dress forms were so popular. I have several from my days selling at shops. Guess I better get busy getting one of the girls ready for the ball. My party goers get anxious and like to show up early. Join us at 8pm if you can. Officially starts Tues. and lasts until Thurs. night.
ReplyDeleteWish me luck and best of luck to you, too. Hope you have a large number of friends for your first party which I'm sure you will. Hope to see you later........ Shannon
This sounds like fun, Carol! Can't wait!

Looking forward to it Carol. I have a dress form in my booth (for sale but no takers as of yet) Anyway....I dressed her in a pleated newspaper skirt and other fun stuff for Christmas. In January I opened up our little local county newspaper and lo and behold there was a huge photo of her in the paper. Turns out the editor of the newspaper loves to antique and was in our shop one day and saw my dress form and noticed that her skirt was made out of our local newspaper. I didn't even realize I had done that because I get several newspapers. It was so strange to see "Ava's" picture in the paper. I know your party is going to be a huge success. xo
ReplyDeleteLOL....I will definitely bring Ava to the ball. Poor thing....she is so flat chested I will have to find her a padded bra to wear. :)
ReplyDeleteI actually picked up another little dress form the other day JUST for your party! ♥
ReplyDeletePS I don't know why but I always have to click off the pop up blocker when I come here before I can comment.
Carol, your Dress Form Party is going to be so much fun!! Victoria Rose is still trying to decide what to wear. This weekend her sister, Savannah Rose, moved in and she is insisting on wearing her vintage bridal gown. :)
ReplyDeleteSee you at the party.
Take care!
Carol

Oh! Milady! I am visiting from Debbie over at Words on Wheels and was attracted by your dress form link-up party! Toooo wonderful! If time allows, I may be able to participate - I keep my vintage form in my dining room/library presiding over all my tea parties. She is Lady Cordelia. I dress her seasonally in one of my many vintage costumes. What to wear to the ball? Difficult . . . so many outfits to choose from. I hope to participate - but, to be sure - I am following you now. Love the vintage rose bouquet post you recently did. And, I've already pinned you!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you'll visit me over at The Writer's Reverie - www.thewritersreverie.blogspot.com
Joy!
