I wanted to give you a glimpse of some of the other vendors at the Fancy Flea, their booths were so crazy cute. I was only able to walk down 4 booths on each side, so I missed so many of my friends! There was 218 vendors.......Here's a glimpse of just a few!
These are my friends Sue and Kathy from Chic and Shabby
This is Paris Rags
Sylvia from My Trinkets
My friend Denise from Rusty Gate Antiques got a great picture of the crowd
Can you believe all of these shoppers!!
What a day, what gorgeous booths, I really believe a huge key to getting sales is in the presentation, and these talented ladies sure gave me something to aspire to!
Happy Creating!
Carol
Wow, it all looks amazing!! I see a few things I like :) I read your previous posts, and so glad you sold quite a few things!! Especially your larger pieces, yeah!! You'll have to have a partner with you next time to help out, so you can get a chance to see all the other sellers and booths, and to do a little shopping :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Definitely sensory overload. Too many wonderful things!
ReplyDeleteI would have been in heaven! Love love the pictures...I would have buying everything.
ReplyDeleteWill be thrilled when it is warmer here and we are able to have sales again.

If only I were closer...sigh....everything looks super lovely!!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol,
ReplyDeleteI would have a hard time not buying all of this pretty stuff.
Paris Rags is so wonderful. I follow them on FB and everytime they post something new, it sells.

Such a beautiful setting for such beautiful booths of goodness. How perfectly you and your goodies fit right in. I can only imagine what you would have acquired if you had not been busy with sales of your own. More help next year so you too can "browse". A full trailer going and a full trailer returning. :o)
ReplyDeletePresentation is the key...but pleasant people and lots of smiles is even more important.
Carol, I am amazed at the huge crowd browsing and shopping. Don't see how you were able to watch over your things, answer questions, make change, etc. That would have freaked me out. It looks like there was a little bit of everything for sale. I'm sure it was a fun day for shoppers.
ReplyDeleteThanks for showing us all the pretty things we missed.------Shannon
Wow, it looks wonderful. Wish I could have been there to shop! I agree that I would have been overwhelmed with the crowd, kudos to you for this this all alone!

Just amazing everywhere you look! I would love to come sometime...what a sale! I'm glad you had good weather, too! Enjoy your week! We're still in NC but hope to be back in sunny FL soon! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures, Carol! It looks like it was a great day, both weather wise and the turn-out. Nice to see you guys weren't in full sun with no trees around! I just ordered a top from Paris Rags online shop!
ReplyDeleteWow! THAT is my kind of shopping experience! So many great booths and on such a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog and I love it!! Such cute things!
ReplyDeleteIt looks amazing...I would have needed a cart/wagon to haul all the things I'd have bought!!! I certainly would have grabbed the curio and laundry sign... and I see a fantastic bell jar I would have grabbed in a heartbeat. It's been years since I've had the opportunity to shop in a venue like this.. maybe that's a good thing... but I sure do miss it.
ReplyDeleteIt definitely was crazy with all of the shoppers! I had a hard time getting into some of the booths it was so packed... But I had so much fun... I can't wait to go back again.

i would have come home broke--it all looks so wonderful, carol! tfs:)
ReplyDeleteThese photos are amazing--I want everything I saw!
ReplyDeleteWow, fabulous booths and a great turnout! I would have done some major damage to my checking account at this!
ReplyDeleteTY Carol ... it was religion & because of such a short time knowing one another.
ReplyDeleteI still lust that pink dress in that gal's space ... it is to adore.
Have a beautiful week ~

Thank you so much for telling us about your experience at the fancy flea. I am participating in my first ever antiques fair. It is next month & I have been searching for helpful blogs such as yours! I have enjoyed my visits to your blog and will be back to visit often! If you know of any other blogs I can visit to find more helpful hints I'd love to know. Loved your treasures.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Aimee
I can totally see how just strolling among those booths would get the creative juices flowing in a huge way. I would love to make this a little road trip with some friends. I need to do a little research and see if they have anything even remotely similar a little closer to home.
ReplyDeleteCarol, you and your fellow vendors do "get" the importance of presentation in venue shows.
ReplyDeleteI love all the great vignettes in the booths and am going to look up some online.
I'm so glad you had an overall great experience.

It was a fabulous show I can tell and your booth looks awesome. Glad you did so well.
