More Paper Towel Holder Hat Stands

I'm continually making hat stands for my booth at Orange Tree, I thought I would share my latest batch


These old paper towel holders are pretty easy to find at thrift stores and I'm sure they are thrilled to be given a new life all dolled up!


I did a full tutorial on making them HERE  The cliff notes are to take a paper towel holder and glue a half styrofoam ball on the top


It's so fun to pick paint colors


Then have fun choosing fabrics and do dads to dress them up


Of course this is my favorite because it's pink



These will go in my booth at Orange Tree, I price them at $25 and they've been a good seller......Just saying for all my friends that have antiques booths and online stores.

Plus....They are soooo fun to make!!

    These are so charming Carol and I certainly see how they'd be so much fun to make. Love them all, but I think my favorite is the yellow one:-)

    I think of you everytime I see a paper towel holder at a yard sale. I just know you could tranform it into something beautiful. I like the feathers on the black/white one!!!

    SO SO SO...CUTE!!! I love how they look with the hats displayed on them. I have never looked at a paper towel holder the same, since you first posted on these. :)

    The hat stands are fabulous...but it makes me wonder what else you have done with paper towel holders? Also, I love that you give us the prices you will put on your items, it really helps me do "comparison shopping" in my head. Thanks, Carolyn

    I can just see one sitting out at my daughter's place with her favorite hat on top of it. She's a hat girl!
    I'm keeping my eyes out for a paper towel holder. I could have sworn I had one around here, but when you first showed these, I looked and couldn't find it. Hrmph...

    Hi Carol, loved catching up tonight as I am back from vacation. Love the sign for the rehearsal dinner. Just too awesome. I bet your get some orders for those!! You are so creative. The hat stands are just darling. Love these and the assortment of colors.
    Thank you for stopping by while I was on vacation. It's back to reality now. LOL!! and wish the temps would get cooler!! Santa Fe was a wonderful mid 80's.
