Inside The Polka Dot Flea

Inside the Polka Dot Flea

On the last post I showed you the behind the scenes set up of the Polka Dot Flea....

Now, lets go inside the Polka Dot Flea

Before the crowd rushes in.....

This is my booth...I had a sweet blogging friend Amy help me mind my booth.  I'm actually contemplating not having a booth next year.  The last two years I've been stretched to thin planning and running the whole Polka Dot Flea and doing all that is involved in having a booth.  This is a really tough decision, since the whole reason I started the Polka Dot Flea was to have a place I could sell my Polka Dot Closet wares at an indoor air conditioned venue......Funny how things workout!  I had no idea how much fun it would be organizing and promoting a show and a girl can only do so much....Ah, the twists and turns life takes!

I loved the use of old doilies Blue Betty used around the edge of her tent

Me (Mine are the crummy ones)

We had the Best of the Best Vendors who went over the top building great displays and booths.  They were all so friendly and outgoing.....Making the Polka Dot Flea a festive party like weekend.

I can't wait to show you MORE PHOTOS.....Stay tuned!

Happy Creating
Carol

  1. Carol, this is such a fun post. I love seeing all the details that the vendors put into displaying their work. The booths were outstanding . . . and you do an amazing job. This cannot be an easy task, but then you are the kind of gal that never sees a mountain too high to climb :)
God bless you; you made a lot of people happy with your hard work.

  5. Wow- What a gorgeous show. I see several things I would like to get my hands on! Just a beautiful show, Carol.

Could you partner up with someone to man your booth and just pay them a fee to work the booth for you? I don't know how you did both to begin with! (show and booth) xo Diana

  8. Oh WOW! I am totally drooling, Carol! The displays and vignettes in each booth are just amazing. Even more amazing is how you pulled it all off, and even had your very own booth! You must be exhausted. I would have needed a semi if I shopped there, I love it all so much!!

  10. Well, I hope I don't short out my keyboard from drooling on it!!! The booths are so unique in their designs. What a treat that must have been to see all the creativity and individuality in one location. Your booth is very special, but you'll have to decide what works best for you. Everything looks spectacular.

  20. I'm thrilled Carol this was a huge success again but I'm not surprised at all. Love your booth and I saw drawers holding what looked like furniture piping. I would had to take a Uhaul back to BJ

  27. Oh my goodness Carol. What a dream to be there and be involved in such a lovely venue. I think the other vendors have been inspired by your creative efforts. I hope to attend one day.

Love your booth but I can see why it would be difficult for you to do both. Just do what you love and everything will work out.

  31. Take shorter showers to get greater advantage of green energy in your home! Heating hot water Play Bazar accounts for nearly 14% of the average household's energy use and that can really add up. Cutting down on the time you spend in the shower will be better on the environment and your energy bills!
