If you need me next week I will be at.......
......The Haven Conference in Atlanta
My blogging friend Sherry asked if I would be interested in joining her at the Haven Conference. I met Sherry through blogging and when she moved to Florida I met her in person. My son always refers to my blogging friends as my "Imaginary" friends....Well, Sherry and I are real friends now!
Many of you know Sherry through her popular decorating blog No Minimalist Here .
Sherry lived in Atlanta so she knows the area well. We will be flying to Atlanta a few days before the conference to shop antique and outlet stores.......How fun will that be!
Then we will spend 3 days at the Haven Conference meeting other bloggers and going to sessions on blogging, diy, photography, and decorating....Along with Eating, drinking, and being Merry!
Now, a girl needs a special bag for a special event so, I made a Haven Bag
I pulled out some trim and doilies
And using TAP paper
I printed out the graphics on my ink jet printer
My bag is ready to go
I'll be back soon to tell you all about our and adventures and share the great tips I pick up at the conference.
Happy Creating
Carol

ReplyDeleteCarol, your bag is wonderful. You have that magic touch. It is going to be a great ice breaker, too. Think of all the blogging sisters you will meet as they come up and introduce themselves and ask about your bag. It sounds like a great conference and how lovely that you get to spend time with Sherry. We'll all be looking forward to the photos and blogging information that you bring back to us. Above all . . . Have Fun! You deserve it after all the hard work you put into the Polka Dot Flea.

Hey -- I thought we were going to get more on the Polka Dot Flea????
ReplyDeleteOh you will have great fun ! Enjoy and happy traveling.
ReplyDeleteWow!! That bag is stunning!! Have a fabulous time!!
ReplyDeleteCarol,
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! You deserve that after all the organizing you did for the Flea Market. I did read your post where you said that you almost did not have your own booth there and I chuckled a bit. The same thing happened to me last year where I had to cancel myself as a vendor because I could not mangae running the event and being a vendor at it. The stress of the 2 and working full time almost drove me crazy. So I have decided to stay away from being a vendor for at least 2 years until Joe retires and I gave up running the Craft Fair. I now have no obligations on my plate and will be going part time in 2 weeks!! Can't wwait to just have to think about what I want to do!!
Have a great time!!
Hugs,Deb
