As I sit here at my computer.. sans champagne or wonderful goodies, and in my stretchy pants and t-shirt, I'm glad I can still get invited in. I look forward to all the creations. I've not tried decorating a dress form yet, but I do intend to in the future. Yours alone has sparked my interest. Thanks for hostessing such a lovely part.

After reading your post about the Barr site, I ordered my girl, she arrived, is put together, but still bare! We'll see what I can throw together and put on her before the party ends. I have a prom dress I made back in 1969 that I'm thinking would be perfect, IF I can get to the far back reaches of the closet where I THINK it is. I would think that dress is VINTAGE! Making me O.L.D.!!♥♫

Oh I love this party...I was just at LIFE IN MY STUDIO....debi's blog and began the drooling fest....and now here ... everything is so pretty!

I don't have a 'real' dress form...but how would I love one. The only thing that comes close in my house is the small wire form that I use to hold all of my ETSY creations. I wish I could share her on your linky list...but she's not dressed in clothing.

here's the link in case ...http://www.creativecarmelina.blogspot.com/2012/01/organizing.html

I'm off to peek at the other entries.

i so wish i could attend the ball, but im going to have to sit this one out. my GLITZ will have to wait for another formal invitation. although i have my linens and lace ready, my tattered wallet will not allow me to put them on. maybe if Barr were to help me out in that department, ill be in attendance next year and not watching from the end of the drive when all pull up in their carriages. enjoy, and i will be watching. ive been waiting for this for some time, but my fairy godmother said it wasnt my time. til next time, pipigirl ~^~<>:(**)

How fun is this! I have serious mannequin envy!

You asked about my methods for some pillows you saw on a post last week. Sometimes I use the iron on transfers, which work well sometimes and other times have me yelling at them in frustration. I also stencil with paint onto more durable fabric like burlap and canvas or dropcloth.

I am always reading your site and you have some truly wonderful ideas and are so generous in sharing! I think I need to try the waterslide decals.

Now I am off to visit the pretty ladies, have a great weekend!
