A Bench With Transferred Graphics

I found the perfect bench to transform and added graphics

I knew this would be a fun transformation and I wanted to do something special with the front panels

After a coat of primer and two coats of Heirloom white paint

I printed a couple graphics from Graphics Fairy and transferred them to the front panels

I used a blender pen for the Transfer.....Graphics Fairy has done a post on every transfer method available including the blender pen so, bookmark THIS Graphics Fairy page...Thank you Karen!

I'm going to sell the bench at the Fancy Flea and it will be the perfect place to display these pillows

I made these two out of vintage barkcloth......I hate to use the good stuff, but geeze I've had the fabric for years....Time to let go!

I found three vintage napkins, not much to do with three, except make a pillow out of two

I priced the bench at $75.00 and the pillows at $25-30-20 (In order of the way they are pictured)

The Fancy Flea is Saturday (My previous post has all of the info) So, I have one more post this week to show you the "Small items" I'm brining to the Flea

There will be over 150 vendors and my friend Janice and I are sharing 2 10X10 spaces.  I am bringing the "Shabby" and Janice is bringing all of the "Rusty" including vintage buckets, boxes, garden and kitchen tools, I'm thinking we will be a good combo.

I, "Miss compulsive" have everything done....OCD!  Thursday I will pull stuff out of piles and make sure everything is priced and await Janice and her trailer (Love a friend with a trailer!) arrival on Friday

Happy Creating!

Very exciting, Carol! I can't wait to hear all about it. Love the bench and the graphics. I can't find that stupid blender pen! I looked in Michael's twice and they suggested an artist's store. So we'll see.

I knew you were getting close to FF Day! You are going to have so much fun and have a great success. I just know it. I wish so badly that I lived closer. I love your bench, and I'm nuts about the pillow made from the vintage napkins. You have opened a whole new idea for me.

I can't believe how cute that bench turned out. I love the transfers too. The problem is that I cannot sell furniture with images on them. I try and try and they just won't budge. So I end up repainting them and they sell....whatever!

Love the pillows too. I have a hard time cutting into pretty fabrics too but once you do, it gets easier!

The bench tuned out so adorable Carol! I have a lot of barkcloth and need to make some things with it. I love looking at that pretty fabric though!

I painted a cute potting bench and want to put a decal somewhat like you did for your bench. Haven't done anything like that before.

Have a great time this weekend!

Hi Carol,
I just found your blog and I love it. Wished I had found it while I was in Florida for the winter. We stay in Winter Haven and I love going to Orlando. I was looking forward to going to the Fancy Flea Market this year but had to come home early due to an illness in the family. Can't wait to see your booth next year and hope to see you at the Flea Market too.
Everything you do is fantastic and I love your home.
Hugs,
Connie
