My Antiques Booth

It's been a long time since I've showed you around my booth at Orange Tree Antiques in Winter Park, Florida.  Excuse the pictures there is no natural light in my booth.

OK, go ahead look around.....

Now don't mess anything up LOL, I just spent all of yesterday doing a total reset.

Linen is my top seller

A new group of altered vintage bottles

3 times a year I pull everything out of my booth and start over. Those of you that have booths know that they end up getting cluttered, plus we get bored with how they look and redoing your booth always guarantees an increase in sales.....Watch, now a customer is going to have the nerve to come in and buy stuff and mess it all up again LOL!

Happy Creating!
Carol

It looks beautiful to me! I visit one antique shop here pretty regularly and she closes for a week a couple of times a year to rearrange. She sells on consignment and sometimes I get some great deals. But - I haven't found the buffet/sideboard table thingy I am looking for. I guess that means the hunt is still on. Which, also means I keep collecting stuff while I look.

Carol-
I could live in there...love the colors, creations and so girly, girly!!!

If you wind up selling some stuff, I could live with the mess, Carol! Your booth looks great and I see some things that look familiar! Yesterday I went to get some chalk paint from a place that has booths. I really like her place and while she is full up with booths, I asked if I could go on the waiting list. So that's a start. I have another area I want to look into, but I feel good that I at least asked her about it.

It's a beautiful feast for the eyes! I love it, Carol.
Why oh why can't the antique malls around here have anything that looks even similar to yours?

Dreamy space dear. I should like to buy one of everything...but I shan't as shipping would kill me...not to mention Mr. C who hates everything I love would kill me more. Your style is gorgeous, romantic, and comfortable. Blissful Joy...

I love all of the pretty pinks and blues and linens are what I go for first! I have to say though...if I come to your booth, I would have to have one of those altered bottles! They are very sweet!

Carol,

I love the Mary planter (I have a real soft spot for those) and the altered Avon jar and the bulletin board and...well, okay, it all looks great! I'll bet it felt good to do all of that rearranging. Always so inspiring to see your space, as I attempt to clean up my messy craft area...blah.

Hi Carol,
Your booth looks very pretty and fresh. Love all the pastel colors and the way you have your linens displayed.

I think my booth is ready for a redo. My back wall is covered in nail and pin holes and needs patched and painted! LOL! I think I'll wait til things slow down.

Keep up the good work. Happy selling!

Your booth is absolutely lovely . . . I love all the soft colors. You are quite a talented gal. Do you actually have ladies come in and mess up your displays? Shame on them, maybe you need a cute sign that tells them they are being watched on video. Have a great day . . . beautiful booth. Connie :)

Your booth looks great. It is a lot of work to re-do, but what a difference it makes. I'll be re-doing mine very soon as well. Fall and winter take on a whole new look.

How dare someone mess it up by buying a pretty!!! LOL This made me laugh as I remember those days of just getting my booth space all fixed with new vignettes and have to go right back and redo. LOL
I justs love your space and all your treasures displayed so wonderful.
I could shop here forever. I also know when I used to shake things up every month or so, I would get new sales with things that were there for too long. Move it and sell it.

You are amazing. Love those linens and your new wall shelves are fabulous. Love the one displaying your gorgeous bottles.

Thank you for the tour.
Have a great weekend. I am heading on vacation and treasure hunt!
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Such a pretty and cheerful booth. If I ever get that way..I'm going to find it! One of the consignment shops near me moves all of her stuff around a few times a week. It looks like a new store every time I go in. It's really is amazing how moving it around gives a whole new look to it.

Yes, rearranging the booth pays off! I try to do that too. Always helps to keep it clean looking too!
Happy Weekend! Thanks for being my friend!

Lovely booth! Thanks for the inspiration. Wish we had such booths here. Ours are so ugly and junky! Once i open mine, I want to fluff it once a week- really put a lot into it. That's why I'm waiting for the perfect time. I don't want to do it half way. ♥

Looks great Carol! My booth is in 20% off mode right now and when the dust clears I plan a total do over. If you move stuff around it sells better!

I think I could spend a bit of time in your booth. I see alot of goodies!! And I love how you have your linens on hangers...makes shopping so much easier. I tend to pass them by when they are just stacked on top of each other. I'm sure that I have missed a good bargain or two by doing so LOL

Dear Carol,

Thanks for the great photos. I think rearranging your sales area is inspiring and motivating. It also allows customers to "see" things they never noticed before.

Just received my table top mannequin I ordered. Saw yours in an earlier blog and was inspired. Will let you know how I "dress" her.

Hi Carol, The booth looks beautiful. The pastel colors are so soothing and perfect foil for this hot weather.
You have some really neat stuff. If I ever get down that way I will be popping in. Promise not to muss things.

I always try and be mindful when I go through someones booth for the very reason you just stated. It's perfect, but hopefull not for long, it's all going to go out the door and make so many happy,
