No Sew Shabby Holiday Tote Bags

I made three easy, no sew totes.  Since the Fancy Flea is November 2, I know shoppers will have Christmas on their minds

I picked up these canvas totes at Hobby Lobby, I was surprised at their large selection of sizes

The Poinsettias were a lucky estate sale find.   They are hand sewn and oh my......What perfect Christmas colors!

I pulled out some great vintage crochet trim.  I just love this one, shabby, slightly stained, and oh so perfect.  I can't imagine how long it takes and the skill required to crochet this!

I sewed on the trim, but it could easily be added with fabric glue, I like to use Fabri-Tac

And glued on the poinsettia

These were done the same way I did my French Market Bags

I only made three, but time permitting I will make more before the Fancy Flea.

I'm going to price them at $22...Because I think they are adorable and unique.  I'll be making a couple for Christmas gifts for girlfriends.

Have a great week!
And
Happy Creating

Carol

These are so lovely and your have priced them to reasonably. I think you could get more but they will certainly not languish at that price point.

Fabulous Carol, I love your totes. The poinsettias are gorgeous and what a find. Just adore the lace trims too. My grandmother could create these beautiful crocheted laces. I wish I had a fourth of her talent for crochet.

Think I'll go paint some pink poinsettias! LOL
Have a creative week.

Gorgeous bags. I bought a few of those bags from HL. I had plans for them, but I never got around to that project. You've inspired me to get started! Thanks!

Those poinsettias are so sweet and the pink is nice because it doesn't shout Christmas, but gives a nice soft message. And of course, pink is definitely your thing!!! Nice totes.

Carol those are just darling they will sell like hot cakes. The crochet trim added to that one makes it just over the top. Last year I thought I would do some sort of Holiday Sale but with my surgery it kinda set me back on my crafting. I have started working on Holiday goodies.. I have some catching up to do! Very beautiful work! ox, Diane

Lucky find! Love the pink poinsettias and your bags are so pretty. I know they will sell quickly at the show, which looks like it's coming soon. Mine isn't until Nov. 23-24. Shows sure are a lot of work aren't they? I made some French market burlap bags....thinking they would be great for someone to slip a christmas gift in or a small table top Christmas tree. We shall see. xoxoxo
