An Inexpensive Way To Mirror a Table

I've been working on my Hollywood Regency Living room remodel and want to share a quick and inexpensive project....Mirroring my side table.

After searching for a new mirrored side table, I decided to use the one that I already had....

OK...Now, how to make it fit in with my new decor?  I already had a can of silver spray paint and picked up a couple packs of mirror tiles from Joannes for $1.99 each

I sprayed the table silver.....

....Then using tile adhesive, I applied the mirror squares.  After they dried, I grouted them.

Then added a mirrored knob from Hobby Lobby

And TaDa....My glamorous...May I add inexpensive..... Mirrored side table!

Don't you just love it when a plan comes together!

OK, next up, I've got to tell you the story of the perfect rug I got for the living room......

.......Then I promise... I will be ready to show you the whole room!

Happy Creating
Carol

What a great combo-gray paint and mirror tiles. I would have thought I'd need a ton more tiles but you pulled it off beautifully! You're so talented! Can't wait to see the carpet.

I HAD to come... I don't have time to read all but I needed to see this... yay... I'm returning later. I love mirrored furniture. And now kids are grown up so no accidents are expected with an errand ball I really want to believe I will finally I have one of these pieces. But have you seen the prices? I guess they bring the pieces in their lap till your doorstep ahahahah and have Leonardo di Caprio delivering it ahahahah
I'm going to pin this and read attentively later.
See you then. You have the most amazing ideas.
Love,
Teresa

Hi Carol, love the table and how it works perfectly in your Regency style redos. Did you have to cut any of those tiles or drill where the drawer pull is? Gorgeous update!! Looking forward to the reveal.

That turned out beautiful Carol! You used my favorite spray paint. That looks like a piece they would sell at Pier I for $300.00!
