A Pink Vintage Box Transformed

I love this vintage pink quilted box, all she needed was a little dressing up!

I've never seen a quilted box this size or shape, so I am not sure what it was used for, but, oh it had possibilities!

I added vintage crochet lace and a muslin ruffle, then added a vintage paper rose I had been saving for just the right project

I wanted the inside to be just as pretty as the outside

I used one of our favorite graphics from the Graphics Fairy

OK, I am crazy about this I love, love, it!

I'm putting this cute box in my booth at Orange Tree.  Usually I tell you what I price my projects at but, this time I am stumped.  I love it so much I want to charge $100's of dollars LOL!

Realistically I will probably price it between $25-$45?
Do you have any thoughts on pricing?

Happy Creating!

Carol

It is beautiful! And since you love it so much, I don't think pricing it at $45 is unreasonable at all. Great job!

Really lovely, Carol! :) I love crochet lace and the one you used seems to fit perfectly.
Pricing is such a difficult story. I'm usually very unsure how to price things. I always have a look at the price of the material used in the project and how much time was spent on it.

Much love, Dina

I love this too! Then again, I love anything pink and lacey, and that flower is just wonderful. Looks like you truly did find the perfect thing to use it on. Can't tell you what to price it, but someone will truly love it enough to pay whatever you put on the tag.

That is such a pretty box, especially now that you prettied it up even more. I would think that $25-$45 would be a decent price, but then again, what do I know? LOL

I see this as a very special hat box with pocket for hat pins and hair nets (remember those?). This is lovely and I agree with you...how could you sell this? Price it high and if it doesn't sell you will just have to keep it. :o)

I would put $68 on it ...you can always go down but I think it will sell for, at the least, $68. It is adorable and I think you price your lovely things low. You won't be able to enjoy it long enough if you put $45 on it...And it will make your booth so cute. You can tell what I love in my shoppe by how high the price is...

That is so pretty. I don't know how you can bear to sell the things you fix up.

Carol, you have reason to love that box! It is absolutely gorgeous! I have no idea about what the price would be for that beautiful box. I probably could not sell it! LOL

Hi Carol,
I'm thinking a "sewing" box!? It sure looks pretty! I'm going with a price under 45.00
I'm "cheap"!
Warmly,

I love it and the embellishments are so pretty and romantic. You'll have no problem selling it at that price.

Oh, she's a beauty!

What a beauty! For some reason, it looks (the original) familiar, like maybe my favorite aunt had one or something. I just looks like her.

I wouldn't even begin to know how to price it. I think it will a much desired product so you should price it accordingly.

OH MY GOODNESS! This is just the prettiest thing! Not sure what it's original purpose was but you have really transformed it! Love how you fixed the inside too!

it was pretty as plain but now.....wowzer! Sure you don't want to keep it? I found a 50's beaded cashmere sweater (never worn) not too long ago. I washed and folded it and kept it next to my computer for a week. Decided not to sell....it's mine, mine, mine!

Hi Carol...Pricing can be difficult for me. But I have learned a little bit. I agree with Anita(is that my Montana Anita up there) price high because you can always come down.
Hope we can get together soon..SueBee

I'd price it at about $100....hoping it would never sell because it is absolutely gorgeous and pink is my most favorite color!! ;) I think $65-$75 is entirely reasonable.
