Wow, seeing the pictures leaves no doubt as to why this was a success. Unbelievable wares...I am coming next year!!

Also, I have to know - whose booth was the one with the lace camisole, did they sell the piece the woman was looking at, and do they have an online store...drooling here...

Great photos! I find myself Still browsing,,,,how silly! One thing I neglected to do was take photos of the lovely vintage outfits that people wore. I was so taken by the fact that so many women, (many were young, too) were totally into the event and showed it with gorgeous dresses with little sweaters, vintage scarves, jewelry, hairdos. It was amazing!

Congratulations on the success of the first Polka Dot Flea, Carol! Wish I could have visited it! By the way, were there any shopping bags left? If so, will you be offering those for sale? So cute!

Carol I love these action shots of happy shoppers. The last one is awesome with the shopper carrying her shopping bag that looks framed, and, the backdrop is your lace umbrella. Love it!!
Looks like an ad for the event.
Thank you for taking us along. So enjoying these posts.

Love these shots of all your shoppers, Carol! I am so glad you had such a successful first outing with this endeavor. Not that I live near you, but I'm hoping you will tell us you plan on doing this once or twice a year now. I am wondering, are you missing your booth at all?

What a fun post . . . I love people watching. As I was going through the photos I was wondering if you planned on making this a yearly affair . . . so I'll be looking forward to your next post of the future plans for the Polka Dot Flea.
Have a fun week and enjoy :)

Oh my goodness, Carol! Those vendors would've had to shoo me out the door afterhours. What lovely, lovely "junque" to go through!
Can't wait to hear your thoughts for future FLEAS...

I think I might have missed part three in the hazy haze that is my life right now. I need to go back and check.

It all looks wonderful, and I mean it when I say that I want to come to the Flea. (Actually, I have a powerful hankering to be a vendor at something like this, and I DON'T have any thing to "vend". Now, when you think about it, that says something about the event, doesn't it? It makes people want to be a part of it.

Anyway, it all looks wonderful, and the best part is the fact that those people are carrying bags of goods. If the folks don't BUY, it makes the whole thing kind of useless, doesn't it? Hoping that all vendors came home with serious coin!

Nothing better than a ton of shoppers when you are a vendor at a flea market. That's what it's all about. Something tells me you're planning a sequel.

fun seeing all the shoppers Carol and everyone carrying their "shopping bags". In answer to your painted furniture questions, I actually lightly "sand" the painted fabric, making it smooth as leather and do a very light waxing on it. :)
