I love these no sew market bags!
I'm thinking they would be perfect for some ladies on my Christmas list
The inspiration came from my friend
Sissie's Shabby Cottage
Go take a look at the gorgeous ones she made!
The best part.....I purchased a 3 pack of blank canvas tote bags from Walmart for $6.47!!!! Can you believe that! You can find them in the craft section.
They measure 13 X 13
The sky is the limit on decorating them!
I made all of the ruffles with my sewing machine ruffle foot
I used my vintage rubber stamps on the Paris Market Bag
I sewed the ruffles on, but you could apply any trim with Fabri-Tac, available at craft stores...........a no sew tote!
Here I used my vintage rubber stamps again and a new crown stamp. Stencils would also work well.
I used T shirt transfer paper and a graphic from Graphics Fairy on this bag. To get the graphic to look old I did not iron the t shirt transfer paper for very long
This flower is on my post: How to make a fabric flower
Anyone can make these! They are inexpensive, cute as heck, and just waiting to be personalized for that special person on your Christmas list!
Thank you Sissie for your continued inspiration!!!
Happy Crafting!
Carol

Great no sew bags!
Those are fabulous, Carol! I love the fact that they started out as plain old canvass bags from Wally World. I think they would make wonderful gifts for friends or how about teachers?
Wow, great job these are fantastic!!
Bee happy x
Have a delicious day!
Ok, I would never think these could go from that...to that!!!! Amazing, these are so pretty. You have a good eye, for seeing the finished product from the blanks...
These are gorgeous! What fantastic gift bags they would be. I'm not sure which I like better - yours or Sissies, both sets are so pretty!
we actually went to the Dallas Farmers Market last weekend. And... I took one tote. Was wishing I'd taken another. This would have been perfect!
...and fashionable! Pat
Another idea I would like to copy from you! Love these and I carry a bag everywhere I go! I bought the t shirt transfer sheets but haven't tried to figure them out yet! ♥
These look great, what an inexpensive present that doesn't look inexpensive.

The bags are so pretty, I think they could be called handbags. I've seen Sissie's and hers are very nice, too. You two have quite the talent for transforming nothing into something special.----------Shannon
You sure do know how to "gussy up" plain stuff, ha! They are beautiful and I think I may have to steal this idea too! Don't laugh if you visit my blog - I posted a no-sew item as well but with your talent you could go way above and beyond!
Hugs,
Jacalyn

YOur bags are fabulous and I love the budget! Thank you for sharing the link to Sissie. Blissful Creating...
Hi Carol,
Thanks for the mention but I think that your creations are much prettier than mine. I love that you used the stamps for a very original look. Now everytime I mess up one of my iron on transfers I can say it's to make it look aged. Never thought of that one. Accidentally or intentionally, it works either way.
Great job and I love the added ruffle trim.
hugs
Sissie

Fabulous Idea. I had never seen those bags. I am going to check this out. Thank you for your visits and kind words. I tried to reply from my email but you have a do not reply address. Were you aware of that? I can reply to most people directly but some prefer not. Just an idea. Have a blessed week. Hugs, Ginger

Love the tshirt transfer idea. You are so creative over there. Oh and I wish I could do that decal thing. I thought of you when I was working on the French stool...thought, if I were Carol, I'd be putting some very cool French decal on this guy! Sadly, I had to use a stencil.
I LOVE these! They turned out so beautifully! I just pinned them so that I can remember to make some once the holidays are over :)
How can I get on your Christmas list? These are beautiful!

Where do you get the printing set?
Where can I find a printing set like you have?
Is there any way that you can share your Victors bike sign graphic? I can find a bike on fairygraphic site but not the whole thing. I want to do a sign for my son's bike shop.
Linda, you left me no way to contact you, here is the link for the bicycle http://thegraphicsfairy.com/vintage-clip-art-old-fashioned-bicycle/
