Before I show you more water slide decal projects I've completed
I wanted to let you know that I ordered blank water slide decal paper, but I was disappointed in the quality when testing it.
You are all so sweet and I appreciate your interest in me stocking it in my online store, but of course I would never sell something that I did not think was excellent quality. So, for now I recommend you purchase the blank decal paper from Papilio
This was a leather box that I put a few decals on. You can find a full water slide decal tutorial Here
Here is an easy to find metal tool box
Not to exciting until I gave it a coat of heirloom white paint....
...A little sanding, water slide decals, and graphics printed on sheet music. All of the graphics are from Graphics Fairy
I put both of these boxes in my booth at Orange Tree Antiques and they sold immediately.
I am so disappointed I was not able to stock blank water slide decals for you!
For those of you that have booths, anything with decals on it sells immediately. I have sold every box...
.....stool
And step stool that I've stocked!
Yep, anything with graphics on it is hot....for now, but trends change and I'm sure people will be sanding off all of our graphics in a few years.
I had to redraw for the $50 Cutting Edge Stencil giveaway, as I did not hear from my first winner and there was no Email address. The new winner is Linda Q@Royal Touch, Congratulations! Please contact me

I love love love the little side table. Absolutely cute! The case, do you find the paint rubs off? Do you prime? It looks nice just the same. Hugs. Tammy
I'm having a GIVEAWAY if you would like to put your name in.
Morning Carol!

wow, I love this,, what a cool idea,,
Girl, I just can't keep up with you. You must have something up twenty sleeves. I love the painted metal box. I had to do some research to find out about water slide decals. Seems in my youth we just called them decals since that was the only option we had. Have you ever lifted an image from paper by covering it with elmers glue, drying and then wetting to remove the paper. You then applied it as a decal. It gave a muted or antiqued look. That was about the only other option we had. I havent' done that in a long time. Have a blessed day, Ginger
I have never used a waterslide decal before. I am truly inspired and excited to try them. I am opening a booth in a local antique and crafters mall on the 15th so thanks for the tip...I'll have to get working on that.

Hi Carol,
I love the decal box, it's so cute. I'm not surprised that it sold. I have some wooden stools that need some decals, so I might give it a try.
Love your pretty creations.

What a perfect way to transform an ordinary metal box! It looks so much better now. I really need to try this water slide decal stuff.

Hey Ms. Polka Dot, How are you? I am so behind in creating for my booth right now. Right now I am pricing items to get up there for the holiday open house. All the stuff I have been saving all year. Good stuff I think. Hope it sells as fast as your stuff. :) It's so cute! (your stuff not mine....mine too.. :) xoxo
Great, I love your beautiful creations:-)
Hugs, Biljana
Love the idea of painting the old toolbox. Thanks for all your tips too. I also noticed how well the treasures with decals sell. I put the same Cremones de Fenetre decal on an old greasy tool carrier and it sold right away.
Carol, I'm glad the decal projects are so popular and sell well for you. They should because they are great looking items. I saw one of those metal boxes in our attic so I might just try making it pretty like yours. You don't think my Dad would miss his tool box, do you? ---------Shannon
Love them all!!! Especially the tool box...so fun! Laurel@chippingwithcharm
I love your tool box idea - I have several, and other than clean them up and add a little tassel, I haven't thought of a way to make them cute. I'll have to try something like this for my booth (I just started one last week)
