Building A Ticket Booth

With the Polka Dot Flea just 3 months away I have been busy checking projects off my To-Do list

Since the Flea will triple in size this year we  need to add a  second ticket booth

Since I wanted the new booth to match last years booth, I used more salvaged fence boards that I dry brushed with paint

For the "Ticket" sign, I used my jigsaw to cut the shape then did the letter graphics on my computer.  The words and graphics were done on 4 different sheets of paper that I printed out.  The graphics were then transferred to the board using the "Blender Pen" transfer method.  You can see this method HERE at Graphics Fairy

The ticket booth can be easily unassembled and reassembled at the show

It is a smaller version of this booth we built last year

You can see how last years booth was built here HERE

At last years Polka Dot Flea we had a line out the door until 1:30 in the afternoon....Hopefully a second booth will move the line faster this year

Next on my list.......The big display for the entrance of the Polka Dot Flea.

Last year I built this dock scene

So.....What am I building for the grand entrance display this year?

The clue is in the poster......Can you guess?
Stay tuned

Happy Creating
Carol

SO smart to have a second booth, Carol. I remember that display from last year...and I am betting it is bikes and old fashioned luggage this year?
I SO wish I could be there in person! Darn it all! xo Diana

Very smart and thoughtful to have a second ticket booth. Get those customers inside where they can be SHOPPING and spending their money! You are so clever to make lists and check them off. I can almost visualize your grand entrance work of art...poster clue fun!

Hi Carol. Wow before I read "the clue is in the poster" . . . I was thinking . . bike, suitcases, flowers. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Your ticket booth is wonderful and very good thinking to have two this year. Everyone will appreciate getting through your long line a lot faster. You're so smart! Not only in all the incredible decorating ideas and project make-overs that you do, but in merchandising.
Way to go, girlfriend!
Have a lovely day and don't work too hard.
Connie :)

Of course (I am so fan of your creations) I love your new tickets booth ! I tried to make a brain storming with my poor head to find THE clue ! Because Carol you didn't put an S so there is only one thing to guess ! It could be dress forms you're so gifted with them, suit-cases funny to superpose, old bicycles for a smiling ride, what else ? In fact every thing you listed on your poster ! So As we say in France "I give my tongue to the cat".

Wow Carol! The booth looks great! I feel like I am missing out by not being able to work with you this time!! But I have two tears in the meniscus on my right knee, and still have plantar fasciitis!! So...standing for 2 days just won't work! I am praying that it's a huge success, and am with you in spirit!! Hopefully, I can come out and shop!! Keep up the great work! You are amazing!!
Hugs,
Becky
